I know it isn't any consolation, but our premium has risen 25% in the last 6 months. We do have cheaper options, (with very high deductibles) but it still grates. This is the whole purpose of hc reform imo, and it isn't even being addressed by dems.

Is there any compromise being discussed between medical providers and patients?

The hc industry is regulated by dems in my state, and so far, it is the patient and tax payer bearing all of the burden.

When and where has the medical community made cuts? Would society tolerate them?
