Sorry for the confusion; Do you object to the concept that regulation of health care insurance sold by private companies across state lines is a good idea?

I'm unsure if you are referring to regulation at state level or federal level here? ......I don't care if the insurance is sold across State lines or not - but I do care where the regulation is. If you regulate at the federal level - then I am against doing regulating (race to the bottom). If you continue to allow states to do the regulating, then sell away - but that might be pretty much what we have now. The West coast is much more demanding of insurance companies (more regulation) I believe than the rest of the country. Why should we give up these benefits for something that might be acceptable to unregulated Texas for instance?
