For instance I don't want a "decider" from a state - maybe say Texas for instance - and a VP intent on deregulating every single regulation - maybe say from a state like Wyoming - deciding what my state's insurance should look like. You do that already, as Paul pointed out, with food and drug regulation, and no end of other regulatory bodies. Which when they are well staffed (not too many industry appointees) work rather well. I fail to see the difference.
