The free Acronis True Image that's available from Western Digital is the full version. It checks your system for a Western Digital disk, and a "WD" is displayed in its window.

There are a few minor differences between this version and the one I paid over $60 (after shipping and taxes) to get.

I have not discovered any "expiration date," crippled functionality, or embedded sales pitches.

One huge difference for me is that the bootable CD this version creates works with my system. The CD my purchased Acronis makes won't see my drives.

P.S. I can get my non-working CD to see my disks if I disable "enhanced" SATA in my BIOS before booting. The "WD" CD works with SATA enhanced or not.
