I think this thread will have its future moments too. I jsut see a large interest in tape reading, where along with my own interest, I decided to pursue this in the form of a thread, a thread that is closely tied with Steve and his "From the Trading Desk" thread. I have received an e-mail from him that tellm me he will fully support my efforts with his expertise in tape reading. This helps out alot.

I go to Border's, Barnes and Nobel, and Trader's Press here on the web. Traders Press is a good place to find good books on different aspects of the stock market, and does have an invemtory in very worthwhile but out-of-print books. The staff there is helpful in selecting the appropriate book for a customer's specific needs.

The toe titles related to my tape reading thread is only available at Trader's Press. The other books that I mentioned which include the one on the history of the stock market I purchased at Borders.

I recently discovered that Borders will be on the web too very soon. So there will be Amazon, Barnes&Nobel, and Borders as my primary sources for books. The web versions of each book store offer an over one million title search and a 20% discount from store prices. So I will be shopping for books more now on the web. Also, places like Amazon attempt to help their customers by placing descriptions of each book with in many cases the listing of a book's table of contents on their web site, and provide for reviews of the book which their customer can participate in. This is an extra plus over shopping at the local book stores.

By the way, what other aspects of the stock market that you can think of that has not been discussed anywhere else to any depth besides tape reading?
