Depends, I suppose, ENTIRELY upon how you wish to DEFINE YOUR TERMS.

As for what is "conservative" and what is "liberal".

After all these are merely words, LABELS.

Anyone can sling a label around and I've found that people fairly consistently have very different ideas in their heads for what these labels actually mean in practice.

(For many folks they merely self-identify and associate WHATEVER policies they themselves belief are "good" with one of these labels, and then consider whatever folks who disagree with them to be "bad" and associate the opposite label with that.... :-)

An instructive example of that I believe was the pictures we saw at some rallies last year of people carrying signs saying things like "No to government health care" and "Hands off my Medicare" at the same time.... <g>
