Just go to those fund managers and the MMs and ask when will they let CPQ rise back to $75 !!!! Don't forget the price of all stocks are controlled and manipulated by those fund managers and market makers.
The market makers set the bid/ask price and the fund managers provide
the money !!!! Nothing to do with fundamentals!! That is the reason why recently when stock reported better than expected earnings, the stock
always tank, and later one or two analysts will come out and give some reasons !!! tHIS IS THE SAME WITH WHAT HAPPENED TO cpq LATELY !!!

Matt:

You're lucky to have got Compaq at 61 - probably will get to 75 by X'mas!

Good Luck!

This company and Dell are keepers as far as I am concerned, they are blue chippers...they have proved that to me over the last 2 years. If you buy on a dip in the market as we had last week, you bought at a relatively low. Keep them for a while and you are bound to make some money up the road when you sell...lets say a 1 year from now. I am not saying to hold for that long just keep a watchful eye on the market each day and sell when you feel comfortable. I am one for building a portfolio for the long term not for the quick hits.
I realize everybodys methods and ways with the market are different.
Just an opinion...by the way I bought more dell and cpq last tuesday morning so I did real well in buying more at a low.
