Apparently many people do that anyway. That is one great reason there shouldn't be an over reaching Government intervention in healthcare. If they don't want insurance, let them pay. Let them go bankrupt every 10 years and live without credit in a credit driven society.

LOLOL more uninsured than today, another idiot liberal idea that comes beack to bit them in the ass. Like painting baby harp seals red

Pre-existing conditions as being currently discussed are conditions such as hair-lipped children, people with incurable conditions such MS, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis,-----seniors who are denied coverage because they have a condition that developed earlier in life or an accident that occurred to them.

The irony of the claim that hair-lipped children born with that "pre-existing condition" were being denied treatment and insurance was debunked by parents with children who were born with that condition and were able to to be insured and treated.

This of course, is what is wrong with the Democrats position----they are using the concept of 'pre-existing conditions' to sell their Federal Government control of everyone's health, medical care and life.

The Democrats are using the people with very serious pre-existing conditions to sell their socialistic ideas. I find it abhorrent that the Democrats or anyone would use people with pre-existing conditions to sell this major bill that no one wants.
