yep .. i recall a cute little lady wiring those cores up at ERA assoc., in St. Paul MN in 1958 ...

She was all by herself ... on a bench with a single 32x32 core matrix in a vise on the edge of a table, and inserting the 3rd(diagonal sense/drive) wire into it ... manually!

(That's when/where i got the 10c/bit number ...)
