Have you ever read Arthur Miller's play "The Crucible?" It's a very powerful treatment of those days.

Here's something really cool! Google recently turned on Street View for most of England, and I've been browsing around the
old ancestral George Stronge cottage in Chardstock. His grandson John Strong left there in 1635 and came to Massachusetts.
He was my ancestor ten generations back, and I know you have a link to that family also. First, an aerial view of this pretty
little village...

Load the following link and you'll find yourself looking straight at the old George Stronge Cottage via Street View.
Pan around opposite the cottage, and you'll see three sheep grazing. Browse around the village for a while and you'll
find some very old houses mixed in with the modern ones...
