There is really nothing much 'new' under the sun. Yellow Journalism has always been about making money and pushing personal agendas. (Just look at some of the history of the Hearst Empire creating and then 'selling' an entire war, the Spanish-American War... not to mention any number of personal vendettas and self-serving aims.) The names may change but the archetypes remain the same. <g>
