The bad blood between Ohno and the Korean team is just a rivalry. Nothing really personal, but Korean fans always take it seriously.

Ohno-san being half Japanese is explanation enough. As you know, Koreans in general hate the guts of the Japanese - and that seems to be very mutual.

Ted, there is always some nudging, bumping, and pushing in short track speed skating. Every competitor plays "dirty." It's the nature of the sport. Disqualifications are common, even for clearly unintentional contact.

After posting to you, I looked at a clip of the race......it looked more like he was positioning himself rather than pushing. Having said that, I know little about speed skating and how they judge such behavior.
