Yes, ROST is rubbing that upper BB alright. But, it has done that before for a while before pull backs. The RSI will trigger the pull back when it peaks! Remember, the turnover (TRO) for ROST is much moderately slower so it lags a little. We are just heading into the buying season for ROST.

As far as VVUS? This stock defies all logic. Maybe Sailor did put the jinks in VVUS. :-) Hey, Steve may be shorting the stock for all I know!

Here is what we do know!

1. The CEOs have been dumping their shares big time!

2. The stock is selling at a deep discount!

3. According to IBD the short interest for through Oct. 15 dropped by 8% to 9,443,714 shares. Average traded volume has reached 1,877,100 per day. So, there is approx. 5.03 days worth of short interest for a potential short squeeze. If you recall, the short interest had been as high as 12 full days worth.

4. According to Doug's TRO stats VVUS has increased it's turnover to 129.59% of it's float per month or only 16.72 days. It was 18 days for the past two months.

We have a very reactive stock and very high premies relative to price. In fact, our friends at coveredcalls.com list VVUS in the:

Disclaimer: By the way everybody, I am currently reviewing the software options calculator for Coveredcalls.com. They have been kind enough to link our forum on their web page and are regular readers of our forum. I have no other personal interest or business associations with them. I continue to sell nothing! Only you can decide your risk/reward tolerance and what is the appropriate for you! People can make and lose money in covered call writing.
