If scientists one day prove that being gay is a factor of your genetic and chemical makeup, not environmental/nurture factors or choices by the individual, would that argue for not discriminating against them?

The rate of incidence of gay people among the population has held steady at 10% or so for a very long time. That tells me that it may be more a factor of nature instead of nurture. Otherwise, with more acceptance, you'd see more gay people or at least bisexual activity going on. Then again, I think bisexuality was pretty common in Ancient Greece, where there was a cultural element to it. Either way, I'm inclined to believe that it's a little narrow minded to discriminate against gays.
