Why didn't the primary care doctor test you for a virus first, seems logical given the winter season.

Why didn't you go to the doctor earlier rather than waiting until a week later?

So now what do you do for the virus that you had in the beginning? Stay hydrated, rest, take a tylenol or other inflammatory?

Not to scare you but just know that after viruses as people recover, their hearts often are affected-------.

Do feel better-----I have work to do now.

You obviously have a poor opinion of your doctor. Given a choice of whether he chose to act defensively or to act in a way to carefully diagnose an elderly patient (in your best interest), you chose that he was being defensive.

That is all conjecture on your part. Thanks for the worthless anecdotal experience.
