I could not figure out how to create a new C: partition once I had a failed restore in True Image. I believe cow had a similar experience.

I had to create a new C: partition cause as soon as you start the restore process, you delete the old C: partition, then the new one is replaced with the image you are restoring. If it fails, your computer will not boot as there is no active partition. You drive letters will all be haywire.

How do you create a new partition in True Image when your C: partition is gone? I could not find it in the program and I run the program from the OEM boot CD. Running from Windows you would have to run it from the boot CD.

Only way I got a C: was to insert the Windows XP cd and create it from there, then continue the restore with a good image.
