why is it silly ? Some think Schizophrenia is caused by a virus. I know you like to argue about everything.

If it were caused by a virus, there's no reason there couldn't be a familial component.

Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) is normally passed from mother to child and causes peptic ulcers and stomach cancer. There's probably more viruses like that.

I have no idea if its a virus though.
