DAng next time I go out shootin' I'm gonna duck tape three of my SLRs and really impress the chicks! Stereo? Make way for 4-D!!!

Nice link BTW - interesting.

I was thinking that maybe even if 3-D stills are not popular today, perhaps in the future there will be some other 3-D technique (say to view w/o glasses or special equipment) - and it might be possible to convert todays 3d images to a new format since much of the information needed would be in the photos.

Which would make today's 3d photos invaluable.

The best 3D I've seen w/o glasses was a Toshiba laptop. They even wrote a special molecular modelling software to demonstrate. The laptop is no more but interestingly the software which was to be demo is still alive and growing.
