You describe yourself as :"BTW.. I live in a nice east end neighbourhood with many 600K (majority) plus homes (not mine LOL).. and a few to a million.. If I never left my neighbourhood my view might be different to be fair.. We have nice parkland, Col. Danforth on one side and the West Rouge on the other and walking distance to GO and waterfront.. but we are lucky...:O)"

Then you describe your neighbors to the south "You need to look at the US in a world context and not in the US I'm alright jack context.. "

By stating that: " HOWEVER they need something to galvanize the people into doing the right thing.. It has not happened yet.. and status quo is recipe for disaster.."

Perhaps its you who needs a lifestyle adjustment, sitting up there in that east end neighborhood deep in thought about black swan scenarios, in an otherwise inflated priced home, with the freedom to travel too...

Or should just i say, wow.

Let me just remind you that USA is the World, it is the best illustration of a melting pot on the planet. Which means that in order to live together with a modicum of respect, and conviviality, we must be doing something right.

The USA is galvinized behind its Constitution and Bill of Rights which has been the magnetic attraction for all the immigration in the first place.

Now, had you projected your sentiments outward with proper perspective, that USA, has been affected by a level of oligarchic malfeasance, you'd have been right, within that limited view.

The USA has plenty of room, plenty of natural resources and the largest gene pool on the planet from which the random combinations can produce a most spectacular range of outcomes.

Now what that means; might not be clear...but do not make the common mistake, the fact that it will be the USA's contribution that leads the world out of its love affair with scientific socialism.

This dose we are experimenting with, will reveal to them that matter, just whose on first, second and third.

What do you want to bet that it will be the USA who wakes up first...? Throws out the education system, the science fiction of these times that breed inertia, enabling anyone with range of an internet connection to get on with the promise of freedom, over ignoble largesse offered by just about everyone else.

Think Canada or China or India or Brazil will do it?

No way, as their respective hierarchies are ill prepared for the new physics, the next reshaping of human evolution.

This can only come from the backlash as abreaction that Babel was more than a mythical story to be acculturated into modern day service by a cabal of elitist wanna bees.

There are systemic advances coming from the ground up...so as you park your ass in that east end neighborhood...think bravely how you'll react when the presumptions of your pretense are overturned and that the pathways to escape are nullified by your lack of peripheral vision.

the black swan as a metaphor, is nothing but contrivance.....

the sooner you get it...the better off you and yours will be.
