Tantalizing chart. Trend seems pretty clear. Complication is the extreme volatility and irrationality of currency and macroeconomic stories howling out there. Wouldn't want to try outguessing the calendar on this one.

Yes, we are very much seeing the same thing.

Much debate over if the miners lead the bullion or the other way around. I could write a lot of opinions about this, but the short version is as we reach new highs in the bullion, it appears it must continue to lead to "prove" the move. This leadership by the POG is one possible factor in the subdued performance of the miners as of late.
