I've been writing straddles. Sold some shares outright in the 47-48 range around the first of the year. Most recently sold the Oct. 30 put and the Oct. 44 call. No money in it even that far out. Gives me something to do.

Edit: QCOM cited above. Also sold straddles on CREE, POT, a few others.

I wrote QCOM Mar 40s when it bounced yesterday - WAY too soon, though! This thing is a rocket ship, like a Toyota with a mind of its own.
