The vulnerable in society are subject to the abuses of rape, assault, and sexual exploitation.

That's true, but what does it have to do with the subject under discussion?

There is a connection in that prostitutes are typically "the vulnerable", but if your going to go with that connection as relevant I'd point out that making their activities illegal makes the more vulnerable. Participants in black markets are understandably more reluctant to go to the authorities. Even if they can be convinced that the authorities won't go after them for their crimes, you still have the fact that the authorities are also less likely to make a huge effort to help "criminals", and the criminal acquaintances of the people who might go to the cops would at best be suspicious and at worst murderous if they found out that someone talked to the police.

If your trying to change the subject that's fine, we can talk in more general terms about the vulnerable people in society, but you presented the stats in the same post as a response to my points about the legalization of prostitution, without a clear transition to another subject.
