That wasn't a parade I posted about. And there were other examples.

There's more than just the potential for mal-treament of adopted children involved. We have only a little experience with SSM in a handful of states and already we're seeing the results:

We've seen exclusion of a major church from arranging adoptions over the SSM issue (this has happened in MA and is about to happen in DC). This will mean fewer adoptions to good parents.
We've seen a doctor found guilty in court for refusing to personally perform an artificial insemination procedure (she referred the patient to another doctor who would) for a lesbian couple. That was in CA.
We've seen a wedding photograher fined for refusing an assignment to work for a gay wedding. That was in NM.
We've seen a church property lose tax exempt status in NJ for refusing a gay wedding.

It seems pretty clear that SSM will be used as a club by gay folks to punish and marginalize everyone who doesn't toe the line on approving SSM. We are already see that starting.
