tuna - back in the days when I had money and a large account, I bought larger blocks of shares (now I'm lucky to get 100 - sometimes only 50 at a time). My worst loss was EXDS - I had bought 500 shares at an average price of 66 and then my broker (without asking me) decided I needed to average down and bought me 1000 more at 30 .. and then I added when it was in the teens .. I currently have over 2500 shares of EXDS sitting in my account at 0 - total loss was over $78,000. That was when my husband and I had an income .. that was my second worst loss (there was one even harder to bear). So - believe me, I also have felt the pain!! Still waiting for that turn around - they say trends last 7 years, so I think we're overdue.
