I've cited issues before where SSM would be used as a club against religious people and isntitutions. That was just a timely example. My preference would be to make sure that religiously affiliated non-profits are exempt from those laws. But that would be allowing them to discriminate and thats what you're trying to eliminate. because it shows how religious institutions could be inadvertently impacted, unless they are safeguarded. Which is what I've been posting about.
