When Bush got elected in 2000, I knew this country would pay a steep price.....a price that would get steeper the longer he was in office.

In dollar terms alone, when bush took office, the CBO said he inherited a 10 year surplus of $5T+. Bush erased that and added a debt of $5T+ more. That's a net effect change of $10T+, considering that the first 1.3T of "Obama's" debt was left behind in bush's 2009 budget.

It really irks me that people are whining about the state of the nation, forgetting that they voted for the Bush twice and the jerk had control of this country for 8 long years. They seem to think that by voting for Obama, the slate was wiped clean and things returned automatically to the way they were pre Bush. It just doesn't work that way. Not only will those of us who did not vote for Bush have to pay for Bush's STUPIDITY but we will have to endure the crying of all those idiots who voted for him twice. Its definitely not fair but it is what it is.
