Not at all. Most actors hide their sexuality because of people like you.

Maybe they don't want to get type-cast. Maybe they just want to keep their life private.

The fact openly gay folks like Ellen can have successful careers and that gays can be treated sympathetically in shows would indicate its not a horrible cross to bear nowadays.


Let me see....the estimates I have heard are that 80% of male actors and 40% of female actors are gay in Hollywood. I know that Degeneres and that guy who played Doogie Howser MD are openly gay. Have you heard of any others? I haven't. What does that tell you?

BTW I once was invited to a lesbian party in LA once. Some of the most beautiful women in LA were at this party. And that's saying something considering all the hot women in LA. Surprised the hell out of me.
