Thanks for the postings, Paul. Intel is finally conceding to the market,
rather than dominating it. Any wonder why the stock price is dropping.
Obviuosly this will eat into their top end processor share. Eventually this zero segment will dominate, with three major players, neither having any control over the market. Good news for the consumer, the box makers and MSFT.

Intel's only differentaition will be in the mainframe end, with much lower volumes.

There is a new Scientific American Special Issue. In this issue titled "Solid State Century";Graig Barrett of Intel authors "From Sand to Silicon: Manufacturing an intergrated circiut" ...a must read for all Intel investors. Other interesting articles include "Microprocessors in 2020" and "The Future of The PC".
