There are no such thing as food stamps any more. They give out something that looks like a credit/debit card. This was done so people would not be embarassed using food stamps - no joke.

I used to stand in line behind people using them. Nowadays, they have their own food stamp credit card. Very popular and keeps expanding. An easy way to get food to the poor, makes the farmers and grocers happy.
