That's very useful info Shorty, but I think when a celebrity attends a charity event it's usually because they support the charity and appear free or with just travel expenses paid... What your link is describing is how to get a celebrity to attend an event of your interest, not usually a charity event e.g. a sports banquet, corporate dinners and award dinners, as motivational speakers, or even to participate in the event such as golf tournaments, road races, etc.
