Thanks Larry,

I didn't know what the sub-$1000 came with, but now I have an idea. I bought a GTW last year have a 166mhz, 3gigHD, 32ram. Works fine and haven't had any problems (knock on wood). Has plenty of speed. I thought they may have been selling computers at low 100mhz which would be bad for consumer. Now I know someone will rip me for owing a GTW, but own MUEI stock. My sister has a similar MUEI she bought last year like mine and her's works fine. Now if only MUEI stock would go up like GTW's did the past two years.

Regards

Sub $1000 will be like training wheels for beginners. I thought my 486 would last a year or two. I thought my P133 would last too.
Once exposed, ...they will begin to crave computing power, multitasking, hi end audio and video, and all the bells and
whistles they can afford.
Sub $1000 customers eventually will spur the second largest wave
of tech stocks earnings, by end 1998-'99 when they come into the high end market, driving up chips, software and boxes! Sub $1000 will force those who have put off owning a home computer because they couldn't justify the expense, to take the step. Not replace my craving for high end PC.

Just my opinion.
