I toyed with the Middle Class repositioning once. I think you have hit a chord with your posting.

I was going to call the 'US cost'. (actually was to be a posting to klaser). A costs that the US citizen carried. No longer could bear that cost and would reposition himself.

That repositioning still would be a middle class although on a different level.

"cost USA": Expenses that government uses tax payers' money, that can cut without any problem.
