Thus the word, which is used all the time by proponents, is hyperbole. Hyperbole used in the selling of any idea is disingenuous, at best. I consider it despicable.

I know I never meant it to describe someone who can afford health care out of pocket...it feels weird to even have to explain that to you.

If the point is that people don't have health insurance, then it should be expressed that way, not that they don't have access. It's not the same thing. Not having access would be a worthy concern. No decent society could allow that.

Look, i think you are creating a straw man...maybe not intentionally, but that's the effect of your narrow meaning of the word "access". And, if you want to focus on hyperbole, there's plenty of that on the opponent's side, without having to be as literal as you are being here. Pulling the plug on grandma, government take over, socialism...i could go on.
