Why not take Iceland as part of their empire?

Not a good idea. Iceland is one of the very few countries that controls fishing in a scientific manner that preserves fish species and stocks.

The fish stocks of the world are depleting at a rate where we run out of fish by (approximately) 2050.

Britain should immediately break any treaty that involves a common fishing policy with Europe. The common fishing policies have been shown to be run by greedy clueless idiots. Britain should in fact invade Europe if necessary. It is worth fighting WW3 over.

Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, the Falklands...we need to just forget about those countries. The planet is mainly covered by the sea and we have a record sized human population to feed. The fish are much more an important issue then oil. If not right now, it soon will be.
