Paul, Thanks for this honest assessment of the stock price possibilities. The analyst community is certainly not pounding the table right now. Are there any particular signals you look for to determine an optimal buying point? (Often, when they start pounding the table, the optimal point has already passed...)

Also, somewhat off-topic -- I've been watching Cymer and Ascend and have been longing to buy -- but waiting has proved to be the right move so far. They are extremely tempting to me right now, but I keep wondering if I'm missing something important...

I enjoyed the bizarre article about the inventor that you posted a few days ago.

Paul:

re

A good friend of mine at work brokers through Dean Witter. Today he received a call from his broker, (A most unusual event for him), who recommended loading up on intc. Anyone else work with DW?

One other piece of trivia for you. My wife and I are going to Kuaui, SP?, next week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The last two times we took vacation, late August to early September of 1996 Intel went from 76 to 98, (pre-split), and in July of 1997 Intel achieved most of it's 40% gain for the month while we were in Tahiti.

If it works this time I think I'll just stay on vacation.

Best Regards
