republicans loved themselves some reconsilation stuff in the past.

51 passes it. we have the 51. done deal.

and Dawn? she will finally be appointed to her post when the fools leave for the next break. good gracious they get a lot of breaks. and we pay for their healthcare. what's up with that.

Hoping against hope to see if the Republicans can come up with something positive and tell us what they would do differently that they have not already done to pull this country out of the morass. Why they think it will take someone like Obama just a year or so to reverse what it took eight years for them to do.

Demonize your opponent. Technically, it's nothing new. But Republicans are finding that it is possible to go too far, especially if you get caught. Party leaders are backing away from a fund-raising document that suggests using "fear" to motivate donors and paints Democrats as cartoon caricatures: President Obama is the Joker, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Cruella DeVille and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Scooby-Doo.
