She was under six living in a town which today only has 862 - the pop whb less in the early 1960's and likely didn't have a doctor. Yeah, they should have not taken her brother to a doctor when he burned his foot.

Canada's healthcare was nationalized in 1984 when Palin was 20. When they were not nationalized the health care was more sophisticated in Whitehorse than Skagway. Now with a national health system they come from Whitehorse to Skagway. But of course your lamestream liberal media gets it wrong.
