This is the second time in so many days I've read about Americans who don't live in Canada using the Canadian health care system. How does that happen? I understand it for emergencies. If you're traveling in Canada and have a heart attack, of course they will treat you. But why would they submit to foreign free riders? Don't you need to show some Canadian medicare identification?

Seems to me that crossing the border for medical care, even if Canadian laws allow it, is stealing.
