I just posted this to my Congressman after watching him on the news defending the HC bill. Congressman Sherman, My message to you is regarding the healthcare fiasco. I am sure you are being bombarded with correspondence re this wonderful issue so I am keeping my hopes up that you have an organisation competent enough that will allow this message to get in front of you asap. Please understand that I am a small business owner as is my wife. We run 2 different companies in 2 different industries. We both employee people of all ages. You should understand that the majority of us, your constituents, are not ignorant lemmings. This bill will kill our economy which, courtesy of the legislature, is already falling into the San Andreas fault. Having the same people who manage the US Postal Service to a whopping $4 Billion deficit annually become involved in any business model scares the heck out of me. You cannot show me any business this government runs efficiently so why has this nonsense gotten this far ? We are not STUPID enough to believe that you can fix what is broken by going into further debt with my grandchildren's grandchildren's $$. Should you not be capable of leading and representing us in the correct direction then you should step down and bring some integrity back to the mess that is the US Senate. With all do respect I find it insulting that the POTUS can, with a straight face, present such a deliberately dishonest piece of legislation as a fix for this great country. Sincerely,
