There's nothing wrong with VCs making money. VCs don't always choose the right projects, but in the end, the American enterprise system of free markets and entrepreneurship always wins. So your pokes at VCs ring a little hollow to me. Unless you like the Communist command and control style a little better, perhaps? As far as my alignment with the Dems, it's pretty simple. We had 8 years of the GOP and Bush and we got nowhere with renewable energies and increased our oil dependency at an unprecedented rate. So it's just practical to give the other guys a chance. The GOP failed, so why would I choose them again to fail me again in my top issue, which is renewable energy and oil independence?
