Hope you all watched the American Greed show on CNBC or will catch it as they repeat it. Also more info is available on their website. Irrespective of one's view of the principals, it's amusing to see hypocritical "cyber sleupps" still defending and denying what has happened. These are the same people who ridicule longs for defending scamming ceo's, long after the scam is apparent. They should look in the mirror, particularly when they are on camera, and see that they are the reflected image, doing, over and over ad nauseum, what they so quickly criticize of others, apparently not willing to let go of the mantra that "their scam is ok, but others' scams are not."

The mention on the show that the guru operated like a "criminal gang leader" with his sheeple followers part of the Enterprise was very enlightening. It's also interesting that defenders forget, or don't mention, the aspects of extortion of CEO's to call off the shorts (and presumably bashers,) which was key to the government's case, along with the use of purloined confidential FBI data.

As was mentioned, it is not about rationalizing vigilante destruction of scams, it was about using insider information, obtained from confidential FBI sources, and extorting CEO's, getting free or cheap shares to call off the dogs, making money at the expense of others, based on manipulation and extortion.
