"Proving a negative is srs bzns ..." You need to stop getting your news from wingnut sites. International trade had virtually halted. Some countries had resorted to barter to move goods. That is something I don't think happened even in the Great Depression, although might have happened during the Long Depression given the similarities. Without trade, everyone is seriously screwed. Ignoring reality for partisan reasons is about as stupid as you can get.
