Peter, have you read about all these Dead Zones we're seeing in the oceans over the last 10 or 20 years?

Areas that are so oxygen depleted that NO life can exist there?

That is from CO2 subduction.

Does that concern you at all?

Only if we can demonstrate that they are a new phenomenon and not something we were previously not observing.

If ALL the oceans die, then WE probably all die TOO.

Yes, but it appears to be part of the cycles of planetary science. Panicing about a wild hair is no more productive.

I can't just write all this stuff off as "propaganda" put out by some people that have an agenda. I have FAMILY that I'd like to see continue to survive.

Me too. This is why Obama's decision to end space exploration is a much greater cause for concern.

You seem to think that it's no big deal and we can't do anything about it even if we want to but I take the possible extinction of my species a little more seriously.

Great, so you will work with me to get Obama's decision overturned on manned space exploration.

The part about climate alarmism is one that requires scientific study. When we have real science to rely on I will take it as seriously as it appears to require. Now all we have is hype, I don't get to excited about hype.

You probably saw all the advertisements for Enron and invested all your assets in their stock before the stock plunged. I missed out on the action desired by the hype.

Perhaps this scientist has not read your theory on CO2 causing dead zones. No mention of it as a cause. Perhaps you should notify them of your in depth research:
