Bought Disney in '84 and '85 and as I said today on the Disney thread:

"Simply, absolutely, the greatest brand extant. (Nothing compares.) And still 2/3 of the world waiting for Mickey."

I know that company inside and out. There really is no competition, at least on par, all the rest, Brand XXX, like Time-Warner.

Mickey showed last Sunday that he can dominate the most important night at will, depending on how deeply he digs into his vaults.

I'm at the very end boomer-wise and I know big time what Disney means.

Sorry, vvolkes, Gillette and Coke are not in the same league. I doubt (before I retire) I shall ever abandon Disney, better than an annuity it is.

Regards

BTW, also own GLX (will surprise) and Mattel LT among others. Once I find a home run hitter I do not let go, no matter the ST vagaries.
