I don't think using reconciliation is a screw up. It is a legitimate tool of our government to overcome opposition to the agenda the majority party was voted in to achieve. So more power to them. I am all in support of the Dems using reconciliation to pass health care.

I just wanted to point out that the GOP should stop whining about it. They have used that tool more than the Dems, so turnabout is fair play. If everyone doesn't like reconciliation and the filibuster, then they can always come together in a bipartisan way to write up new rules. Until that happens, stop bitching about it. The rules are what they are and the Dems would be fools not to use them to their advantage. Their re-election in November depends upon it.
