That whole rant makes no sense to me. I do not think I have infinite wisdom. Quite the opposite, I think all humans are pretty barbaric in their thinking, including me, but I try hard to be less ignorant, but am constrained by my little mind.

The whole idea of a god makes no sense to me. A god would not want anyone to pray to it, would not be jealous or want revenge. And while having compassion, would know better than to try and explain sophisticated concepts to those who cannot understand them. Those are all human traits, not god traits.

But if you read god as a tribal chief he will make much more sense.

Science says we evolved from primates.

>>Koan, > YOu are right I would also prefer to believe we are not random manifestation of the universe; BUT, the evidence sure points to that!

You're being disingenuous. To someone who wants to place man at the throne of God, nothing could be better than the notion that we're all a product of random chance.

Every time you see people getting killed senselessly, every time you watch the reports of some horrible crime, you should be bowing down to the god of random chance. That's just "natural selection" at work. Good and evil doesn't exist. Only what you can fathom with your finite wisdom.
