I agree. I am very grateful for this thread. I'm learning a lot by following several of your's lead, including Ames, hubris, Charles, and others - was glad to see Charles post again as well.

Kind words, H3, but I'm just dogpaddling upstream like everybody else, trying not to lose my hat. If this mini-rally in energy and PMs doesn't collapse, I'll be a happy dog. Pressure may be building for +$80 crude, and we all know the miners could start dancing at any time. As even jim jubak reminds us in a nifty little note about the Greek fiasco (http://jubakpicks.com/), all govts and players cheat whenever they can, so economies and markets are always colored by - even shaped by - enabling fictions. And as we know, a whole lotta bluffing in the PM poker game.

heads up dept: TGA up over 5% today. I've been diversifying my stash of TGA into some of the other oilers mentioned here, but keeping a hefty core position and crossed fingers.
