The GOP has been unfairly labelled a racist party by those who are ignorant of the facts. That includes you. Three times as many Democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Republicans. Al Gore Sr., Robert Byrd and Sam Ervin, leaders of the Democrat party, tried to filibuster it, but Republicans defeated their racist actions. Facts, uncontested. We're talking about from the 1960s til now. Back then there were a lot of racists in both parties. Dems have changed........Rs, not so much.
