You're right. It's ridiculous to think that the Feds would take over the car industry, that the President would ever cross long-established boundaries between government and private enterprise to fire the CEO of General Motors. Pure hyperbole.

Oh, wait.

It's ridiculous to think that Harry Reid would introduce a bill that federalizes the entire student-loan industry.

Oh, wait.

It's ridiculous to think that the Nancy Pelosi would introduce a bill to turn 17% percent of the American economy into heavily regulated utilities with the most likely result being the eventual government takeover of the entire sector.

Oh, wait.

You're right. Truth-testing says the whole idea is ridiculous.
