I call it socialist to use my tax money to spend $1 trillion on oil wars in the Middle East to secure new oil deals for US oil companies. I call it free market capitalism for our government to ensure a level playing field in which competition can thrive through policies and laws that allow a diverse mix of energy sources including nuclear, solar, coal, wind, wave, etc and energy uses in transportation including gas, ethanol, natural gas, electricity and fuel cells. Right now our entire economic system and market place is skewed in favor of oil and coal energy sources and gas ICE engines for transportation.

It's time to diversify for the good of the economy and our national security. Diversification is a hall mark of free market economies. Concentration of power and crowding out of other competing products is a hall mark of corporate meddling in government policy making, which leads to oligopolies like our oil companies.
